
Elizabeth Porter
Area Director of Catering Sales
Elizabeth Porter comes to Levy with over 30 years in the food and beverage industry. As a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, she worked as a chef for LEYE in Chicago and opened numerous restaurants with the group. Her last venture with LEYE was opening their flagship seafood restaurant Shaw’s Crab House which led to Elizabeth opening her own seafood house along with live blues bands.
Elizabeth transitioned to sales after a group of investors purchased her restaurant. Her next opportunities included hotels, a water park and an outside music venue. Her love of food combined with her knowledge of the service side of the industry has been an asset in understanding the client’s vision and the ability to execute and guide them to a unique event. Her vast experience and interest in teaching others has allowed her to share what she has collected along the way.
Elizabeth enjoys new adventures, cooking and spending time with her four children. Her goal is to continue to teach others and help develop their passion for the industry.
