
Nick Mullen
Director of Operations
Nick began working with Levy as an hourly supervisor at Dodger Stadium in Los Angles, California. From there, Nick worked exclusively in the Premium Department at Staples Center serving as both the Clubs and Suites Manager. Nick has worked seven NBA Finals (three Lakers, three Warriors, one Mavericks), two NHL Finals (Kings), nine Grammy Awards, multiple BET Awards, America’s Cup (in San Francisco, CA), NBA and NHL All-Star Games, Indian Wells Tennis Tournament and was on the opening team for the Barclay’s Center in New York.
In 2015, Nick was promoted to Director of Premium at Staples Center overseeing a department of seven full-time managers, five supervisors, and approximately, 300 unionized employees with 200 plus events a year. Nick following his passion of both beverage and graphic design, he helped to create the beverage program by elevating the craft cocktail program for special events and the restaurant program. Additionally, Nick, creates one-of-the kind menus and menu boards for special events, clubs, suites, and programs. Nick has experience partnering with chefs to develop unique menus tailored to the event to be memorable to the guest. Nick also assisted with and is familiar with building budgets and department planning.
In May of 2018, Nick moved up north to join the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium. Over the last three years, Nick has grown into the Assistant Director of Operations, overseeing all front of the house operations. Nick’s additional responsibilities include risk management; including health department and worker’s safety & claims. Nick was a key member of the leadership team for the 2019 National Collegiate Football Championship game planning committee. Being an adept in Excel, Nick uses historical data to build automatic proformas to project labor and/or revenue based on the event type. Whether at Staples Center, Levi’s Stadium or supporting other amazing properties, Nick drives creativity, people, culture, and winning one guest at a time!
